Reena Gupta, Founder of Mom Relaunch, has been selected to be one of the top 10 entrants for the inaugural PitcHER™ contest at the 2018 Grace Hopper Celebration, held in Houston, Texas from September 26 to 28.
The Grace Hopper Celebration is the world’s largest gathering of women technologists. It is organized by AnitaB.org, a social enterprise that supports and empowers women in the technical field. This is especially close to our hearts as AnitaB.org’s mission is to help women in tech succeed, a mission that we fully embrace and support. Like Mom Relaunch, they have programs to help women grow, learn, and develop their highest potential.
The PitcHER™ contest celebrates female entrepreneurs from all industries who are leading early stage technology startups, with the goal of empowering women technologists on September 27!
Come and see us at Dreamforce 2018 – the biggest Salesforce event of the year! The Mom Relaunch team will be at our sponsor, DBSync’s booth at the Customer Success Expo from September 25 to 28. Be sure to drop by to say hi and find out more about Mom Relaunch. We hope to see you there!
Mom Relaunch joined the Bay Area Salesforce Bay Area Networking Event which was held from 6 to 9pm on September 13 in Mill Valley, with Salesforce User Group members, friends and Salesforce staff attending. It was a night filled with great conversation, food and drinks. Our moms managed to extend their network by meeting with like-minded people within the Salesforce community.
Sangeeta is one of Mom Relaunch’s early success – A stay-at-home mom for nine years, Sangeeta honed her Salesforce skills at the Mom Relaunch LaunchPad and was successfully placed as a Salesforce consultant at a leading global computer networking company, giving her a second lease n career fulfilment, putting her past experience and new skills to good use. The renewed start in the IT industry has given Sangeeta a fresh perspective in returning to the workforce. She recently wrote an article on her experience for Staffing Industry Review and although she could not mention us by name due to publication guidelines, we are elated to be a key part of Sangeeta’s success.
Earlier this year, Mom Relaunch organized a Salesforce Information Session for moms who were interested in returning to work and wanting to find out more about the Salesforce Ecosystem. The Salesforce Economy is projected to create 3.3 million new jobs by 2022, a burgeoning industry with high potential for career returners. The Info Session was over-subscribed within two days and we saw a great turnout of moms attending the event. Since then, we have trained our first cohort of Salesforce moms, with a strong and cohesive team getting hands-on experience on our LaunchPad program.
